Mailcar Hobbies is a traditional small business in the sense that we are dedicated to serving our customers to good, old-fashioned personal service. We believe in hard work and honest living. We have real people answering the telephone whenever possible during our regular business hours. Your e-mail questions and comments are always welcome and will be handled promptly.

Our weekly announcements of special pricing and new items are meant to be informative and a convenience for our customers. While we strive for accuracy in our price lists, there may be typographical errors for which we cannot be responsible. We are, alas, only human.

For our weekly special offers and pricing, we cannot take lay-away orders. If you would like to place a lay-away order on our regularly priced items, please let us know.

Our site may use an order form for customers to request information and services and purchase products. We collect visitors’ contact information, such as their names and email addresses. In the event the customer is making a purchase, we will also require additional financial information and billing information such as a credit card, shipping address, telephone etc. Contact information from the order forms is used to ship orders. With the user’s permission, we may also send the weekly special announcements and the new inventory listing notifications. Users may decide at any time to stop delivery of these weekly notifications.

There is a "no-spam" policy at Mailcar Hobbies. This means that you must either consent via the telephone or through subscribing via our web site to receive our newsletters and announcement. When you do sign up for the newsletters and announcements, you can be assured that your e-mail address will NEVER be sold to an outside company.

Mailcar Hobbies will not sell, distribute or give away our customer list unless required by law. Any information gathered, either by way of the internet or by personal contact, will be used for general demographic and marketing information.

Our site may use cookies in the future. Cookies may be used to make sure that you don’t see the same ad repeatedly as well as to deliver content specific to your needs.

If you do have to return an item, please call us within 14 days of receipt of the order for a prompt refund or exchange. Returns after 14 days of receipt may be charged a restocking charge.

Just a note: There are times during the year that Bob is away working a trade show and some orders may be delayed until his return. We are open for business and can take still your orders during our normal business hours. You will be informed when you place your order if there is any delay.
